Sealed bids for Bid Request No. 2024-001 for Douglas L. Smith Middle Basin Influent Screening, Disinfection & PEW Improvement Project shall be submitted electronically at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, June 7, 2024. Unofficial results of all bids that have been submitted will be available electronically at https://jocogov.org.ionwave.net within twenty-four (24) hours of bid close.

Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.

A mandatory pre-bid and walkthrough meeting will be held on May 8, 2024 at 9:00 AM Central Time at the Administration Building at the Douglas L. Smith Middle Basin Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 10001 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66210. Gather at the front conference room (Room 107MB). Bidders are required to attend the meeting to view site conditions.

Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.
